“Mr. Perfect Superman” from the album in 2018, Songs for Shane, is an acoustic pop love ballad of true admiration and affection for the one you love. Precious Perez comes in with a bright ukulele as her fingers dance merrily with the melody. Her soft candied and plush voice resonates against the brightness the song as she pours her heart out to the man she loves. There’s a blossoming build to the chorus as the vocals layer with a harmony steadily going back to the verse. A solely produced and written song by Precious, the instrumentation and lyrics depict a soul-mate and and a heroic man. Being head over heels in love can feel like a sweeping whirlwind of emotions as “Mr. Perfect Superman depicts. “Mr. Perfect Superman” shows how much she treasures this man in her life. Precious, with her sweet and gracious voice, entails how she sees her fiancé in “Mr. Perfect Superman.”
“I could light a fire with the love you fill my heart with. You're the reason for my joy, you take away the darkness. Eres mi corazon, mi todo y mi mi mundo. No puedo creer, mi mejor amigo es mi novio.”
English version: "You are my heart, my everything, and my world. I can't believe, my best friend is my lover.”
