Anker - "Moments"
Written by Patrick Joseph and Staff

BWH Music Group and World National Indie Radio (WNIR) are hosting 'Songs For Change' radio special during the month of November. Music can influence, and even change, people, movements, and society. Sharing songs about peace and social justice, will ultimately remind the world of the importance of peace, fairness, love and unity. Anker's song "Moments" is one of the amazing songs that will be featured on this special radio program.
An eclectic mix of classic arrangement techniques and courageous harmonic progressions allow “Moments” to soar an be the inspirational anthem it strives to be. The rhythm section on this track is undeniably hip. Drums and acoustic guitar create a tight, snappy groove simultaneously reminiscent of 90s indie-pop and timeless rock. Sonic textures are clean and strong. This rhythmic crispness allows the beautiful vocal melody and chord progression to shine through bright as day.
Lyrically, “Moments” is anthemic and uplifting. The vocal hook hits the nail on the head during choruses. After hearing the first chorus, you’ll surely be singing along to the 2nd…“Rise up, make it everlasting, Rise up, every day.” This song is a call to action…it jolts the listener into waking up and realizing that life is constantly breezing by: “Where does it go when we turn around, where do these moments go?”
“Moments” is a certifiably well-made song. The coolness of its verses are juxtaposed by the gang vocal sing-along chorus. The relaxing relentlessness of the rhythm section frees up the vocalist to explore various territory throughout the song and inject emotional inflections throughout. “Moments” moves like a river toward an ocean of inspirational, feel-good music.
