Angel (Diary of an Outlaw) - Exclusive Music Interview

Hailing from Hollywood, California, ANGEL was raised in the country and in the city, on the streets of Detroit and on a farm in Michigan. Today, his music captures the grit and guts of both landscapes. Angel's many artistic gifts include singing, songwriting, screen play writing, photography, cinematography and directing. Angel is also known as a fearless poet. Whether he is scripting a movie or singing, he delves deep into what lies under the skin of life and human connections, and in doing so he creates music and art that moves his audience.
What got you into music?
It was my heart from the beginning. I was a stripper who wanted to sing and I did.
What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else?) Tell us why.
It is the fans, connecting with them and hearing how the heart and soul that goes into my work touches them. It is one of the greatest things on Earth.
Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?
Perfectionist Level Focus.
As a songwriter or musician, are there any obstacles you have had to overcome or obstacles that you are facing right now in your career?
Life.
Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?
Chris Stapleton. He makes real music and don't dance, or shake his ass. Greatest Talent Around.
To date, what do you think your best song is? Can you describe the song for us?
I can't answer that, the fans will need too. I love them all.
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?
Yes, I am doing a 10 single release with music videos over 2020 and we will see where were at. #RockON
