Asia Nicole, out of Atlanta, GA, is a young aspiring pop artist. She began writing, singing, performing, and playing instruments at a young age. Throughout the course of her musical career, she has played at a variety of venues winning over the hearts of fans while constantly recording new music. Asia won first place at The King Ryan Music Showcase where she was the only teen artist and was a nominee of the 2017 Georgia Music Youth Award. Asia is driven to reach her goal to become a well-known artist constantly pushing forward with new releases like “Crazy.”
What got you into music?
There wasn't any particular person or thing that got me into Music I always had a passion for music at any early age. Music has always been my therapy.
What is your favorite part about being an artist or band? Songwriting, performing, recording, etc.? Tell us why.
My favorite part is all of it the. I'm doing what I love. The Songwriting , performing, and recording . the songwriting I'm telling my story, the performing I'm acting out my story, and the recording I'm sharing my story.
Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?
Being in the recording studio I feel like I'm in a safe place no matter what I may be dealing with it doesn't matter. Being in the booth is medicine to me.
As an artist or musician, are there any obstacles you have had to overcome or obstacles that you are facing right now in your career?
No I can't say that I've had any obstacles to overcome yet.
Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?
I admire all the Artist is the Music Scene it's a lot of hard work, dedication, and up and downs I admire them and myself for not giving up.
If you could be granted one wish, right now, as an artist, what would you ask for?
The one wish I would ask for is to perform at the Grammys.
What is on the horizon in the next year for you?
Touring is on the horizon for me next year.
To date, what do you think your best song is? Can you describe the song for us and what makes it great?
I believe No Good is the best because it was so personal and honest and a lot of my fans could relate to it.
