C.K. Flach – ‘Boxcar Dreaming’
C.K Flach is an outstanding folk artist out of New York. In 2012, Flach started a band called ‘The Kindness’ where he found his passion for songwriting and love for music. It was not until 2016 that Flach began focusing on his solo work. From here, he began writing and recording his first solo project titled 'Empty Mansions', in which he did nearly all the writing, arranging, and recording. Off this project, his song “Boxcar Dreaming” brilliantly showcases his talent as a solo artist and multi-instrumentalist.

“Boxcar Dreaming” shares the universal message of leaving the past behind and moving on to bigger and better things. Reaching the chorus, the instrumental arrangement backs off for the first vocal line enters strong and maintains the intensity for the remainder singing, “Goodbye, Fair-weather home/We were Boxcar Dreaming/In the glow of evening/Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.” The arrangement of the chorus makes for a breath-taking moment that will create a lasting memory of Flach.
“Boxcar Dreaming” is everything you want in a powerhouse folk ballad. C.K Flach proves that he has what it takes to be a very strong solo artist with his song “Boxcar Dreaming.” This is just one great track off of 'Empty Mansions.' His music is available for purchase via Bandcamp. For more information on Flach, visit his website.
