Harmony Drive - 'See You'

Harmony Drive is an alternative, pop-rock band from Norway that is sure to exceed all of your expectations. Drawing their influences from a plethora of different genres such as, metal, indie, alt-pop, and Americana, Harmony Drive delivers a memorable and unique sound that you want to be a part of. Harmony Drive debuted in 2014 with their album 'Metal Heads With Broken Hearts' which received praise internationally. Now they have released a new single “See You” and the band hasn't let let us down; in fact, they have raised the bar and surpassed excellence.

"See You" is the product of two phenomenal collaborations; you will hear the work of legendary producer Richard J Veltrop, who was at the helm of incredible records by Rage Against The Machine, Tom Petty and Ozzy Osbourne and also the drumming of Dave Elitch, known for his work with The Mars Volta, Juliette Lewis and more.

Harmony Drive’s new single “See You” is undeniably infectious. The song begins with upbeat steady drums, and a nice melodic guitar riff in the intro. Right from the start Harmony Drive fills you with positive vibes. When the first verse starts, Lars’ voice comes in and immediately you can hear that is filled with charisma, matching the great attitude of the band, creating that unforgettable sound that you only get with Harmony Drive. The added vocal layering at the end of the verse makes for a great transition into the chorus.

The chorus to “See You” has everything and is everything you could want it to be. It is - perfect. The production quality is fantastic, with the mix between live instruments and MIDI can't get any better. “See You” is without a doubt radio ready and has enormous chart potential in the U.S. and worldwide. Besides their professional sound, the chorus is incredibly easy to relate to and catchy, leaving you with a music experience that you’ll want to keep coming back to. "I'll see you. I'll hold you and make you dream again so you can feel that I love you and I need you. I'll take it back to the days that we remember. I'll show you, I'll teach you that everything can be so much better." And, everything is so much better Harmony Drive because you are not waiting for the song to improve or prove itself to you - it is great from the first note to the last. There is an honesty in the lyrics that makes you want to hang out with the band and get to know them.
