Jared Wesley Delivers Creative Hip-Hop on 'Zone 4 (Mu-Tha-F*cka)'

For all of you that think Hip-Hop is dead, I present to you Jared Wesley. Wesley brings back that old school feel and boosts it with his own unique style. Wesley plans on being a pioneer in the Hip-Hop industry by focusing on creative hip-hop and from what I hear on 'Zone 4 (Mu-Tha-F*cka),' Wesley's plan are in full gear. Growing up, Wesley listened to many different genres of music from R&B / Soul to Alternative and Pop. Listening to these different genres is what helped shaped Wesley’s sound into a multi-dimensional experience that you won’t soon forget. Wesley hopes to open the minds of individuals to the more artistic side of Hip-Hop and with his skills and drive, this should be very feasible.

With his song “Zone 4 (Mu-Tha-F*cka)” Wesley delivers. At the start of the song we are introduced to some eerie synth directly followed by some innovative hyping from Wesley. From there, Wesley immediately starts flowing with clever, swift word play and style reminiscent of that “back in the day” sound we miss in rap today. Meanwhile, the track starts to build up with added piano and guitar samples and, the second the beat drops you get that satisfying “there it is” feeling, and can’t help but to start bobbing your head along.

On top of Wesley’s skilled wordsmithing and killer flow, it’s hard to ignore the great quality of his production. His voice is smooth and crystal clear which feels like a breath of fresh air in today’s market of “mumble rappers”. The beat on “Zone 4 (Mu-Tha-F*cka)” also won me over. Wesley clearly puts in time to master his craft, creating a unique sound that points out the artistry it takes to make great Hip-Hop.

"Im comin' to your hood, aerobatic flows when I flip these words you know how I really do it, Mu-tha-f*cka spit it like its so absurd..." And this is the truth.

“Zone 4 (Mu-tha-F*cka)” is not the only thing that you have to look forward to from Wesley. In these upcoming months Wesley hopes to release an EP titled “Sides”. Any of his singles or EPs can be found on his website or on sound cloud.
